A lifelong love for being active and deep curiosity for learning new things led me into a yoga class in early 2012 in Oaxaca, Mexico. What started as a desire to learn (Spanish) by doing led my yoga practice and later teaching career.

After college, I moved to New York City and took a job on Wall Street. It was then that yoga became even more important as a way to find balance, strength, and clarity in a crazy city, as my schedule was hectic and work was extremely demanding. I continue to work in finance while practicing, exploring, and teaching yoga at the same time.

I completed my first training program at Yoga to the People in New York City in 2015 and earned my 200-hour RYT. After apprenticing at Yoga to the People, I have since been teaching one-on-one and small group classes independently, as well as community classes for Lululemon in Chelsea.

When COVID-19 changed every day life as we know it in the beginning of 2020, I migrated back down south to my childhood home in Louisiana, where I began teaching yoga on my screened porch each day to my quarantine mates and to others live on Zoom.

With over 6 years of teaching experience, I continue to provide easy and accessible classes to the masses. Having grown up with two parents who were teachers, I aim to provide thoughtful classes that empower each individual; support students in their pursuits to experiment with movement, balance, strength, and focus; and to create an environment that is welcoming and supportive to all. My teaching style focuses first and foremost on the breath as the best way to explore the body and movement. Classes encourage students to challenge themselves, find their edge, and cultivate a practice that can have great longevity.
